San Diego Opera Trip – Tosca – February 21, 2016

Below find the itinerary for the San Diego Opera Trip Tosca.

8:45am: We all meet in front of the Union Station’s entrance (left side) and
board the luxury air-conditioned coach (restroom on board).

9:00am: The bus starts to roll. Those who didn’t have time to stop at Starbucks not he way to Union Station have no need to despair, for we have complimentary refreshments available on the bus.

11:15am: We pull up at the Westgate Hotel in downtown San Diego just in time for luncheon.

11:30am: Each famished opera buff enjoys a three-course lunch with a main course of their choosing (beef, fish, vegetarian) and a soft drink and coffee included. Glass of wine is an additional $6.50.

12:30pm: Tickets to the performance are handed out to the fat and happy opera goers, along with a $10 drink coupon.

12:45pm: We step out of the Westgate and walk the barely one block to the opera house in time for the pre-performance lectures.

1:00pm: We take our seats in the auditorium for the pre-performance lecture.

2:00pm: The curtain rises. During intermission, folks can redeem their drink voucher for a refreshment of their choice.

Note: After the performance, we meet out front and traipse back over to the Westgate where we board the coach for the City of Angeles.
