Salzburg 2011 – For your enrichment: During our bus-ride through Upper Austria, which is sheduled for August 8th to Sankt Florian (Anton Bruckner experience), we will have Jay Nordlinger, senior editor of the National Review, lecturing about “Anton Bruckner, Man of Soul”.
Salzburg 2011 – Program Up-date: We had to exchange the morning program of August 4th and 5th, because of an abbot convention in St. Peter, in Salzburg. As a result the visit of Mozart’s Wohnhaus is now sheduled for Thursday, August 4th, and visiting St. Peter will be Friday, August 5th.
After weeks of planning and negotiations, we have put together the program for the Salzburg 2011 fundraiser trip of The Los Angeles Opera League. After many talks with local people in Salzburg and it’s surroundings, we created for you this special and unforgettable 10-day Salzburg experience: Music for the Eyes.
